Maoing the Piggy is a chess term referring to the strategic act of sacrificing a more valuable piece (such as a bishop, knight, or even a rook) in order to neutralize or counteract an aggressive or overextended pawn, often one that has become a positional threat by advancing deep into enemy territory.
Here, Black is clearly Maoing the Piggy, sacrificing the knight to take out that dangerous passed pawn before it becomes unstoppable. It’s a bold move, but necessary to keep control of the position.

"I've got a Mao Button like nothing you've ever seen before."
"Is it big?"
"Big! Well, it's bigger than that 'Triple Loyalty' button of his. But it's not just big-it's a real novelty. But let me see yours first."
