Hazing incidents

In 2005, Jack Phoummarath, an 18 year old pledge at the University of Texas, died from alcohol poisoning in what was described by his family as a hazing incident. Three former leaders of the chapter pled no contest. A settlement was reached with the fraternity for 4.2 million. The fraternity organization did not have insurance, and was unable to pay the entire settlement.

In 2013 Lambda Phi Epsilon was banned from San Francisco State University after the death of 18 year old pledge Peter Tran. The University determined that the death was alcohol related from a hazing incident.

Zeta Chi Epsilon

Zeta Chi Epsilon was founded at San Francisco State University on January 1, 1991 by seven diversified individuals who were bound together to achieve common goals. The seven Ffounding fathers established a fraternity where people of different views, personalities, and backgrounds could exist. The organization began as a dream, but over time, the dream became a reality. The fraternity extended the strong brotherhood to four other Universities.

A co-ed international professional music fraternity and honor society that doesn't act like it, usually causing other problems to the other music frats like unnecessary drama, baggage, and cock blocking. If no other music frat is around them, they will turn onto each other to cause drama just so they can have something to talk about.

MPE Girl 1: "Hey, did you hear what those Delta Omicron people did in the music hall last night?"

Sigma Phi Epsilon

A large, national college fraternity. It was founded on three principles: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. Like most large fraternities, quality of membership varies from chapter to chapter.

The Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia enjoys hazing via the elephant walk and a variant of ookie cookie which employs pizza.
