As defined in a public press conference,by #44 ,as those people who are not progressive,socialist,or liberal.

They are the people who cling to their guns and religeon,rejecting socialism because they prefer freedom.
They support the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

They prefer to earn their own way rather than to have things given to them by the government.They prefer smaller less intrusive government and lower taxes.
