Bundy would typically approach women in public places, sometimes feigning an injury or disability, before overpowering and assaulting them. He often revisited the bodies of his victims and committed acts of necrophilia.

He was found guilty and sentenced to death, but managed to escape from prison twice before eventually being executed in 1989.
