The opposite of "Sweet Dreams". Telling someone to have Sour Nightmares means you don't want them to sleep well or have good dreams. Instead, you want their sleep to be bad, unsettling, or even terrifying.

*guy in friendzone*
*dreams a nightmare paralleling his life*
*wakes from that dream into one where he's escaped the friendzone*
*wakes again into his reality where he's in the friendzone again*
Thus the Nightmare Sandwich:
(NIGHTMARE//SOMETHING PLEASANT//NIGHTMARE)
