Short for "make a mission". Used to describe leaving a place to fulfill an action, typically leaving to pickup drinks, food, or going out to accomplish something. More frequently used to describe unplanned outings, but can be used for planned as well.

A word you would probably use to describe somebody of low socioeconomic standing who possibly does drugs, drinks too many energy drinks, lives off fast food, wears trackies and flip flops everywhere, and probably lives in commission housing. It may also be used to describe an area.
