A mechanical Christian is someone who claims to be a Christian, goes to church, attend all the meetings and services, but doesn't actually live the life of a believer.
They go to church likely because that's how they've been brought up. They wake up every Sunday morning and get ready for church, not because they're hoping to have an encounter with God, but because that little routine has always been a part of their life.
Dressing up and going to church every Sunday is just one of those weekend activities, that they've gotten accustomed to. Hence, they live a mechanical life.
They give tithes and offerings because it's customary to do so. They say grace before meals because it's customary to do as a Christian. But deep down within them, they have no real relationship with God.
They do these things out of habit, mechanically, and not because they have any real conviction in them.
This practice is called Mechanical Christianity.
"Having a form of godliness, but denying the power therefore." - 2. Tim 3:5

A: Sharon used to be a Mechanical Christian at her early life, but I'm glad she finally had an actual encounter with Jesus.
B: Now she comes to church not because she's expected to attend a church as a Christian, but because she actually wants to hear a message from the lord.
A: Yea, mechanical Christianity can lead someone into a false sense of being saved. Only true relationship with God brings enlightenment.

A 3D physics-based sandbox made and published by Axolot Games. It currently has three game modes: Creative, Survival, and Challenge. Creative mode includes blueprints to save, load, and share your creations. You have unlimited parts but the world is not infinite. Challenge mode is where you can build or play race courses, puzzles, (and even math tests). It is built in with a timer so people can try to speedrun your challenges. Survival mode is the most recent and beautiful mode. You fight robots, build cars to travel between factories, build trucks to move your items between areas, build rockets to fool around, build farms, and build bases around your farms to protect them from robots. Its Minecraft on steroids, and it only costs $20 on Steam.
"I spent 20 hours on Scrap Mechanic this week! Could you help me with building the automatic turrets in survival mode?"

When wood pencils just aren’t enough. These became popular roughly in the 2nd grade, kids would screech over these. A long thin piece of graphite, commonly found in the 0.3 to 0.9mm range. Finding one of these on the floor, especially when there is a lot of led inside of it is a status symbol of clout and wealth within the school walls. Kids will also cry when they loose one. Consider it your lucky day if you find a loaded mechanical pencil on the floor. You can buy a few pencils for one if you’re lucky! These are the best writing tools you can get access to, and since no one buys them, it may take a while to get one.
Kid: Dude, I just found a loaded mechanical pencil.
Other kid: How much led is inside?
Kid: 4 full sticks bro.
Other kid: Lucky! Toss me one?
Kid: Gonna cost you some cash brother.

I heard you study mechanical engineering.
Actually Anjali, it’s pronounced “best college major.” I can understand your confusion tho, you’re not the brightest bulb on the tree.
