It is commonly used to describe an action or event that is extremely challenging or difficult to complete. Where in which the person who is currently "bullshit blazing" is trying or appears to be trying as hard as they can to accomplish the goal at hand.

1: "Holy shit Mathieu has been on the offensive this entire game, he's really giving it his all".
