Get the Charitymug. When on an online dating site or app, Charity Replies are when you start chatting with someone who otherwise does not find you attractive, but for some reason continues to reply feeling some sort of obligation. This usually results in ghosting or the friendly fade.
I was talking to this guy on POF. He obviously had no interest in me and was just giving me charity replies cause they were always just one word answers and he wouldn't reply for hours at a time. I can see when he's been online! Then one day he just kind of vanished...
