Sarcasm without any of the associated facial expressions or changes in tonality. Used either by A) people exceptionally skilled in sarcasm, who do not even need to use other expressions to be sarcastic or B) those unskilled in sarcasm, who don't quite understand how sarcasm works.
I don't think my sister understands sarcasm, judging by the android sarcasm in her delivery of "sure mom, squid penis for dinner would be great."
Jim was so skilled with sarcasm that he didn't even need to change his expression- his android sarcasm was impeccable.

An emoticon or "smily" which is used on a message board to show others that your post was sarcastic. Also referred to as jimlad. Popularized by SeattleClone, a member Cyclone Fanatic (a well-known message board for fans of Iowa State University).

When in conversation, person A says something that person B knows is sarcastic but cannot detect the sarcasm in person A's voice. Derives from when a grasshopper is in the grass and you know it is there but you cannot see it.
After Steve has had a mild day of work/school mainly consisting of fooling around.
Steve: "Today was really tiring, I had loads to do"
Alan: "Really? Or is that just grasshopper sarcasm?"

A name for someone who throws sarcastic insults towards you. A really good comeback if someone calls you the infamous "Captain Obvious".
Dude 1: "The grass is green."
Dude 2: "Thank you, Captain Obvious."
Dude 1: "My pleasure, Sgt. Sarcasm!"

I love how Morgan Webb uses soft sarcasm to bash crappy and/or average games on X - Play.
"This game would be much better if had more kittens to hide its obvious negative nuances."
