Mort's Law

Mort's Law is a law that states if something has a fanbase, that fanbase will to some degree, be toxic. Basically without exception, if there is a fanbase, that fanbase is toxic. The name comes from the show Rick and MORTy which, most infamously did indeed have a toxic fanbase.
Jack: Fuck man I never thought the Bob the Builder fanbase would be toxic but holy shit they proved me wrong!

Jobwin's Law

the rule that if given enough time in any online discussion about Apple, someone will eventually make a comparison to Steve Jobs would have done differently (a variation on Goodwin's law)
"If Steve Jobs were alive, he would have never allowed that color choice on the new packaging."
OR
"Steve Jobs must be rolling in his grave over the new Apple commercials!"

"Can we please stop mentioning Steve Jobs' name everything Apple does something we don't like? Jobwin's law is really pissing me off right now."

ternent's law

A law of music which states that no song about the floor, the club or putting your hands up in the air, etc can be audially pleasing. Comical songs may be exempt from the law.
person 1 - "that new song about the club is horrible"
person 2 - "it was bound to be, its ternent's law"

Lyle's Law

A term used by people who solve the NYT's daily crossword to point out the fact that the revealer to a puzzle's theme has a high likelyhood of being in the bottom-right corner.
Just like Lyle's Law indicates, the revealer for today's puzzle was in the southeastern corner today, 3 spaces above the bottom border of the puzzle.
