An embarrassingly awful day where every problem, mishap, and streak of bad luck is bulging out prominently for the whole world to notice. Super awkward, impossible to hide or ignore. (A bigger, more in-your-face version than a regular bad day, playing on the slang term “moose knuckle.”)

Traffic jam, spilled coffee on my shirt in the meeting, then my phone died during an important call. I’ve had a straight up moose knuckle of a day.
