Commercial Cringe

Occurs when people gather to watch a sporting event or tv show. They watch the show with joy, then the room turns awkward once it cuts to commercials. Either people mindlessly watch the commercials, or they go on their phones.

Jared and Denise were having fun at their super bowl party until they got hit with commercial cringe.

A piece of cringe so unbearable that it kills brain cells upon sight, similar to high-energy gamma rays. Similar to gamma rays, getting a high dose of ionizing cringe may either kill you or turn you back into a truly based red-pilled sigma male.
