A reaction to drinking too much coffee. The entire body becomes stiffened and taut, and every muscle aches. It is utter pain.

To be locked to a proverbial barrel, such as 'bent over a barrel' with no feasible means of escape.

A buddy of mine is barrel locked (bent over a barrel) with a vendor at work. He can't get anything done cause the vendors solution doesn't work, and management won't allow him to replace the vendor.
