Fake Application Friday

When you're unemployed and can't find enough jobs worth applying for to meet your minimum weekly quota to keep receiving unemployment benefits before the weekend. Therefore, on Friday, you apply to jobs that are out of state and/or that you're underqualified for so that you can keep receiving unemployment benefits and still enjoy the weekend as if you were working.

Jamal: "Tyrone, did you find at least 3 jobs worth applying to this week?"

Tyrone: "Nah. I found 1, but it's Fake Application Friday so I'll just apply to these 2 Director level jobs that I know I'll never get so I can at least enjoy the weekend."

Fancy Flannel Friday

The day out of the week where you wear your favorite flannel on Friday just to be awesome and good looking. It can be any kind of flannel. And it doesn't have to be the same one every wekk

It can also be called FFF for short.

"Hey dude, don't forget to wear your flannel for Fancy Flannel Friday this week! You forgot last week and you were the only one in class without one!"

Green Polo Friday

Green Polo Friday is a term to describe the habit of insecure, ill-experienced co-workers attempting to strengthen their morale and unite through matching apparel. Interestingly enough, in the act of attempting to become more formidable as a group, the Green Polo's typically choose to represent themselves with the very color associated with employees who are "inexperienced" or "new".

-"Did you see all the rookies in the break room??"
-"Yeah, looks like it's another Green Polo Friday..."

-"Boss, you gotta do something about these Green Polo's... It's mayhem out here."

Friday

Everyone says Friday is awesome because it's the day before the weekend and all bit to me it can be torture. Sweating yourself in for six hours at school knowing that when the bell rings your weekend will start but you feel like a mess in the meanwhile.

Damn, I know you love Fridays and all, but part of it is non-weekend heart stab.
