It is used to loop over all descendants of a game, serialize all properties of the descendant (Name, ClassName, etc), and save it to a .RBXLX (Roblox Level XML) or .RBXL (Roblox Level) file.
Most scripts present in a "SaveInstance" are not their original sources, unless LinkedSource is used for the script. While some decompilers come very close to the original source, some things are not present. Such as: Comments, Local Names, Spacing, etc.
Server scripts can NOT be stolen from your game, as ServerScriptService and ServerStorage are not accessible to the client, and Server code is never given to the client, unless the RunContext is Client.
However, some developers with coding experience can "rescript" your game, meaning filling empty remote calls, recoding server scripts, etc. In some cases, this can get very close to the original source.
