To break wind in a busy/crowded place ie. supermarket aisle, pub bar, wedding and quickly leave the scene of the crime so that somebody else takes the blame.

Man - "After that biryani last night my guts are in bits."

Wife - "Tell me about it, I had to shit and run at our Becky's wedding this morning!"

Man - "That was you? I thought the vicar had dropped his guts!"

Wife - "Mission completed then!"

While the shit and run has always referred to taking a shit in an inappropriate place (usually as a joke) and then high-tailing out of the location, the newest iteration involves taking a shit in a girl's house after you have had a one night stand with her and then leaving the house immediately (flushing the toilet is optional).

Jack: Dude, where were you last night?

Mark: Met a girl at the bar but she was so fucking annoying I had to pull a shit and run.

Jack: Did you flush?

Mark: Hell no!

Dumb and Dumber Shit

Inspired by the movie "Dumb and Dumber " when Jim Carrey's character gives Jeff Daniels character a large amount of laxatives to ruin a date. It lead to Daniels sitting on the toilet talking a very noisy, smelly shit. Dumb and Dumber shits often come after a thunderous stomach growl in which the person knows it is time to get to the toilet.

"That mexican food was great last night, but I feel a "Dumb and Dumber Shit" coming on."
