magic taxi

The phenomenom whereby you wake up in the morning with a girl who had seemed quite pretty the previous night under the influence of alcohol but now she seems ugly. The idea is that the "magic taxi" came to take her away. Especially used in Southern England.

Taxi surfing

Jumping on top of an un/suspecting cab/taxi and surfing/balancing around london(or wherever you may be) for as long as you can while it is in motion.

If you are feeling extra skilled try and do it on a skateboard on top of the taxi.

I am yet to find someone who will actaully give Taxi surfing a real go.

Although some people have been known to grab onto the back of a taxi. Standing/ Skating on top of one in motion would be a serious challenge.

taxi radio

the local radio station where they play non-stop 70's 80's music. about 90% of there viewers are taxi drivers and are typically Asian. almost all the taxi divers never get sick of the songs so they never switch over (even if you ask).
most commonly found in Singapore.

mike: i can't stand daddy blue after that long hour long taxi ride.

jack: why?

mike: the driver was listening to taxi radio

jack: oh you poor thing.
