Karsten is most famous for writing the first tracker for the Amiga, the Ultimate Soundtracker. Later famous trackers such as ProTracker are based on Ultimate Soundtracker's interface and file format. Soundtracker is a piece of software that allowed for four-channel hardware mixing on all Amiga computers.
