Intoxica

Musical (Semi-non) Genre formerly known as: Werewolf Showtoons.

A type of seriously Cool Alternative Music usually listened to whilst Drinking Alcohol or partaking of recreational drugs.
This music can run the gamut from Pre-Rock & Roll, early Rock & Roll right through into the Psychedelic 60's to ,Hard Rock, Punk, Disco ,Grunge and everything up to today's music. Groove based tunes from all music genres fit the Intoxica bill whether and instrumental or accompanied by vocals. Some examples are Lounge, Exotica, Surf, Horror, TV Themes, Porno soundtracks, R&B, Rockabilly/Psychobilly, Blues, Rock, Metal ,Electronica with a particular emphasis on cover versions of songs in different languages, or

whacky lounge renditions. A main theme is thematic diversity even spacing songs with soundbites. A 21st century offshoot of Exotica less the Tiki theme, or with the Tiki theme.
Compilations of Intoxica were first put to Tape in the late 1980's/early 1990's, though they were then known as Werewolf Showtoons.
