Apple fanboy

A single-layered thinking drone originally thought to exist in only small numbers. To help them assimilate into the real world, a computer with only simple functions so that the drones don't get confused was created. Eventually, more products were produced after it was discovered that the number or drones are in the millions. While scientists have been unable to find ways to increase brain performance in this species, a corporation named "Apple" has had financial success in at least convincing that the drone specimen is vastly superior to that of everything else.

A specimen of "Apple fanboy" of this species will act partially retarded.

fanboy

An individual who thinks that XBox, Star Wars, comic books, action figures, TV shows, and so on are life-or-death matters that require zealotry. Such behaviors go far beyond merely being a hobby or favorite pastime. These individuals feel that social skills are not required, and see no problem with becoming hysterical over meaningless issues. They often falsely believe that they are simply showing their "inner geek", as if their behaviors are charming and a source of enjoyable humor. They also often think they are clever, and that others "just don't get it". Fanboys frequently show the characteristics of an arrogant, pseudo-intellectual, going on for hours in a droning monologue.

"Dude, that guy on Lost last night got owned! Dude!"

"You are such a fanboy, dude!"

"Am not! YOU are the fanboy, dude!"

doctor who fandom

A delightful group of doctor who fans (aka whovians) that enjoy two hearted aliens, bow ties, and police boxes that occasionally have their living selves transferred into women named "Idris". Members of the doctor who fandom are also well adapted to change. They have to be considering that the main character gains a new actor constantly. It sounds odd, but some whovians (like me) prefer to call it "ood".

Friend: what are you always doing on tumblr?
Me: communicating with members of the doctor who fandom.
Friend: the what?
Me: you know. The awesome people.
Friend: geek

fanboyism

The collective outlook and behavior of a group of people concerning a subject (movies, games, hardware, comic book characters, etc.) which when challenged results in an antagonistic, passionate, and unreasoned response.

Rampant Fanboyism can be found on most internet message boards when such hot button subjects are discussed. You know a fanboy when you see one.

Example:
Fanboy 1: "Stupid people didn't get this movie"
Fanboy 2: "If you didn't like the movie, you should'nt come here and trash it."
Fanboy 3: It's unrealistic because.....___(fill in the blank about how this movie about flying superheroes is unrealistic.___"
