when you're at the point where you'd do anything for someone. loving someone to the extreme that you'd jump with them or for them. it's a metaphor, like jumping to someones defense
they ask you to jump. you ask how high.
"would you jump for me?" "how high? because if it's high we should try jump off a bridge instead of a building.
