Wavedash

In Celeste (Not SSMB), a wavedash is a down-diagonal dash into the ground followed by a jump. If performed correctly, it should give you 325 pixels/second horizontal speed and 52.5 px/sec vertical speed. As one of the simplest speedtechs in Celeste, mastering it is essential to getting started in many modded maps, and especially Farewell. Some variants include hyperdashing, superdashing (not to be confused with the Superdash 'Variant'), demohypers. They can also be reversed and extended
