A race grifter is one who exploits racial tensions and racial issues for personal benefit, often by manipulating narratives, employing racially divisive tactics and instigating racial conflict for financial gain or political empowerment.

The man profiteering from campaigning for discouraging interracial marriage was a race grifter.

Race checked

Race checking, a race check, or the past tense "race-checked" is an occurrence when one person claims to be a race and the other person denies them that privilege. It typically occurs when ambiguous ethnic groups claim to be white but a "race expert" will come in and deny his race, often in a cruel and mocking way. Race checkers come in many different races: An Indian man race checking an Arab who claims to be southern European for example.

"I'm white, bro!"
"You aren't white, you look like dirty arab!"
A bystander: "DAMN, GET RACE CHECKED!"

Race Flexing

Using your race or ethnicity to try and appear superior to someone else of a different race even though you personally did not create the accomplishments or do not posses the abilities to do so.

Jonbob was race flexing when he mentioned that white people had better artwork, leaving the assumption that he could create better art, even though he is not an artist.

Shofia was race flexing when she boasted about her cultural food being better than white or black people's, although she cannot cook herself.
