The OG Wave God is none other than NY native; Max B, the originator of the term "wavy". Max B and French Montana both self-claimed themselves as "Wave Gods" in a joint released mixtape in 2016. Flow 187, another NY native also refers to himself as a Wave God. The reference of Wave God has also been taken internationally, by UK-based rapper, Cooli Carlito with his debut mixtape titled Wave God.
