Wayang Math

When someone shows off the success of their exam-smart or pseudo-talented kids or tutees in school or olympiad math, by posting photos of their grades, awards, medals, or certificates on social media, dreaming for a googol likes in return—wayang is a Malay word that mockingly describes someone as being “fake” in the sense that they are putting up an act in front of others.
Guesstimate how many wayang math postings appear on Facebook and Instagram every year by oft-kiasu or egocentric parents to hint to their social circles of their “supernatural” parenting or tutoring skills.

Embrace Math, Exclude Myth

When the Trump’s campaign team should stop playing the political game by defending their boss’s false claim of fraudulent electoral voting in states where he is trailing his opponent and start admitting that more than half of the electorate had voted to fire the Commander in Cheat or Pinocchio-in-Chief.
As more mail-in ballots in the key battleground states confirm the trend that Biden is outperforming Trump, it’s politically childish or selfish for Trump’s allies and his campaign team to give him the false hope that he’d still win the election via frivolous lawsuits, when they’d tell him off “to embrace math, exclude myth.”

Beer Math

A very rare form of math only used on a Friday and/or Saturday night when all of your friends who dont have a job want to party, sadly, without out the money to carry out such goals. It will only come into play when your plans are 'have a chill night with a twelve-pack with yourself or one other person' any other plans that you might have are exempt from ever having to use beer math.

HOW TO USE BEER MATH

One: you take the number of people that are going to show up adding possible no-shows or the classic 'unexpected's'.

Two: you roughly determine how much each person will have depending on serval factors, such as the time of day, the persons mood, the persons girlfriend (whether or she approves of drinking) the night before, (whether or not a possible hangover is still very much effective) so on and so forth.

Three: you then compare that to the number of beers you have total assuming of course you have no money to buy more. By calculating this equation you can then figure out roughly how many beers you will ultimately have drank by the end of the night.

Example;

~6 people
two will only drink 2-3
the rest will have 6 or more

Divided into 30 beers

= a shitty Friday night.
What!??! Alex and Share are comming too??!? *mumbles to himself while counting fingers* Shit! Using Beer Math that only leaves me with five beers!!

COVID-19 MATH

Math questions that leverage on the coronavirus pandemic—lockdowns, infections, deaths, face masks, social distancing measures, stimulus packages, tax rebates, rent reliefs, vaccines, and the like—to hone students’ problem-solving or guesstimation skills.
Two Covid-19 math questions are:

1. After parking their cars, 317 Trump supporters took a bus instead of walked to the rally. Each bus can hold 28 passengers. How many buses were needed to ferry them?
2. Eric and Don each have a certain number of face masks. If Eric gave Don five masks, Don would have twice as many masks as him. If Don gave five masks to Eric, they each would have the same number of masks. How many face masks does each brother have? Answer: Eric: 25, Don: 35.

Fear-Free Math

When math-fearful believers need no longer suffer, if they would look up to Jesus, who died for them on the cross, whose blood has paid for every deliverance and healing of their addictions and afflictions—and this includes their freedom from mathophobia.
God can restore confidence in someone’s attitude towards math, be it by directing them to a better teacher, tutor, or textbook, because He wants them to live a fear-free math lifestyle.
