Performative Studying

Performative studying is an ineffective, impractical and performative method of studying. Primarily used only for the aesthetics and to be posted on social media, mainly to Pinterest and "studytok" part of TikTok.

Alan never picked up a pen in his life 'till he transferred to UC Irvine, now he got a whole highlight of his performative studying for the ABGs to see.

sludying

To make an attempt at last minute studying before a test in vain, mainly bacause you are falling or have already fallen asleep. Most sludying occurs on a transit commute or during homeroom.

I don't understand why i failed that test! I stayed up late playing WoW all night, but i was sludying all morning!
