Ghosting

The act of ghosting on private torrent trackers is achieved by first downloading the .torrent, opening the file in your torrent client then once connected to a good amount of peers, the user then goes to the properties of the torrent connection and removes the private tracker "Tracker URL". In effect, unseen by the private torrent website's ratio counting systems. Used to get files for free without adding to your downloaded amount thus having a higher membership ratio.

Ghosting

When an individual feels embarrassed to show their face (like me) due to personal issues, and proceed to not be able to accept themselves out of fear of themselves and currently unable to accept that personality that may have always existed without them realizing. Afraid of unintentionally damaging others who are unable to see past the facial expressions.

My darker self has been ghosting to protect my weaker self.

Ghosting

On a ship: Working during the time between the point you started to fake you are injured (or sick) and the time you can get your actual medical advice to leave the vessel. You have to be present and work as much as you can, but you need to stress out that you can not work up to 100% and you need to moan and look miserable whenever someone sees you.
