flush toilet syndrome

1. the act of refusing to flush the toilet at night of various reasons ie. waking people

2. an unexplained fear common in children who fear monsters shall attack from the bowl and will try and make distance as quick as possible between them and the toilet

3. a paranoia of the flushing toilet masking sounds of screams and footsteps. ie being attacked but screaming doesn't help as flushing to loud

A person so full of shit, they must flush the toilet 4 times in order to empty the filled bowl.

In all actuality, the term comes from Poker players who would bluff a high stakes pot with a 4 card flush, instead of the true 5 card flush.

To 'Flush Over' someone is to flush the toilet whilst they are speaking, effectively drowning out what they were trying to say to you.

Stef: 'What did you think of that exam?' (whilst competing with sound of toilet flush)
Rachel: 'Oh Sorry I just Flushed Over you. You are going to have to repeat that'
Stef: 'Wow that really was one hell of a Flush Over, I am actually mildly offended!'
