A modern zealot who seeks to live in strict devotion to being "politically correct" and is eager to police others using coercion, indoctrination or even force if necessary to adhere to what is (currently) dictated.

A Metal Purist doesn't necessarily favor one genre of metal over another. They aren't like metal elitists.. The difference between a metal purist and a MetalHead is the fact that Metalheads will also allow core to be called Metal, where as a Metal Purist realizes the difference between the 2 separate genre's backgrounds. For instance core is a music genre fusing elements of hardcore punk and various forms of electronic music. Where as Metal has its roots from blues rock and psychedelic rock. A Metal Purist realizes the difference between the 2 genres and will defend the Metal name against people who try to infuse the 2 genres. Hence the name PURE.

Neo-Puritan

Neo Puritans is a revival of puritanism in modern day society.
Neo Puritans are people who hold strong Christian values and are usually very right wing conservatives.
They believe in strong morals, are very anti sex or anything sexual in the media, are against the gay community and marriage, pro life, anti drugs, are very pro traditional values and try and police people to not adhering to Christian beliefs and authoritarianism. They are against dressing in a way that is revealing of the human body, and usually police their children on old mindsets involving sex and religion.
