Turkey, to this day, denies that they ever created "acts of genocide" against the Armenians in the early 20th century.

Turks: We didn't created acts of genocide against the Armenians..
Armenian: Yes, you did.
Turks: I assure you we didnt.
Armenians: Yes. You are doing what you call Armenian Genocide Denial.
Turks: Uh... no....

self denied control

This is when a person (male or female) feel that they should not have control over their own lives. This is caused by a troubled past or self hate, or being controled by family members (usually the parents) for to long (usually by the age of 18)

People who are like this uaually panic when given something to maintain or to look over.

However when they ask for something to control it is uaually something small to look over.

If this is not taken care of the person may become insane and sometimes suicide.

However insanity can also cause this if said person hears voices in their head.

Some of the signs are:

sleepless-ness
lack of apatite

dangerous levels of alcohol/drug in take
deep depression
feeling the need to stay in
lack of interest in normal everyday things
not taking care of oneself

Some suicide victims have self denied control and feel that they can't live without being controled

Service advisor denial

Where management drag a tech out to act as a service advisor and weeks later that person is in denial that they are now a service advisor. In the worst cases the new service advisor may be genuinly convinced that they will "go back into the workshop any day now".

Poor guy still thinks hes a mechanic. Epic case of service advisor denial.

An acronym that stands for Don't Even (K)Now I Am Lying, as when a person is so self-deceived that they totally believe their own falsehoods.

You keep telling me you can drink and drive, but after running over that skateboarder I think it is time for you to admit you have been in denial.
