Bushwhack

Act of being slapped by tree branches while scouting for game from a vehicle. Usually done intentionally by the driver, especially when the person being whacked is not paying attention.

Driver nearly knocked the guy out of the jeep when he swerved close enough to the cedar for several branches to bushwhack the poor unsuspecting passenger.
