young person who is a fuckin' loser looking for an aceptible way to vent and induce negitive feelings, reactions, and behaviors for no apparent reason other than to gain attention.

Any person who may cut themselves for no other reason than to experience, as a way to release pain, a morbidy more plesurable rush in life....IE Cutting myself makes me feel: more complete, less of a loser, or is done as a form of self punishment. These sorry fucks are EMO. EMO is their name and they either may have infected vaginas or puss oozing dicks. MORE POWER TO YOU FAGGOTS.......OH, YOU HAVE NO POWER

Emo

Emo is short for emotional, or emotionally hard-core. It is used to define either hard-core music, a hard-core style of clothing, and even lifestyles. The most common use of the term is to describe one who is clinically depressed, and possibly cuts themselves, writes depressing poetry, seems homosexual, wears eyeliner, usual attire is black,overreacts to small problems often and even writes suicide notes.

An emo person

An emo song (lyrics: slit my wrist, etc.)

Emo clothing (usually black, BUT NO FISHNETS! FISHNETS ARE GOTH!!! Thick eyeglasses, wristbands,etc)

Emo styled hair (black, bangs hang in face & usually cover up one eye)

Emo bands- My Chemical Romance, the Cure, Jimmy Eat World, Placebo, Hawthorne Heights, etc.

the people that you think do things for attention, when really, you know nothing about them.

the people that have mood swings.. good or bad, they have them.

the people that no, you may not understand, but that's not always the case.

the people who may be scene, BUT THEY AREN'T THE SAME FUCKING THING.

if a person smiles a lot, but you notice cuts on their wrists & discomfort around certain people, they may be emo.

* Wearing clothes comprising mostly of black.
* Dyed black hair, usually straightened, with a long side fringe covering one eye.
* Obscene amount of makeup, usually pale foundation and black eyeliner/eyeshadow.
*Cynical attitude towards life
*Attempts at suicide, self-mutilation (wrist cutting).
