1. A particular type of music, generally of the rock variety, emotional hardcore, stemming from punk rock and hardcore.
2. An emo: someone who is emotional, or overly emotional.
3. A label, much like a prep, jock etc.
People listed under this label may include common insinuated stereotypical attributes such as:-
* Wearing clothes comprising mostly of black.
* Dyed black hair, usually straightened, with a long side fringe covering one eye.
* Obscene amount of makeup, usually pale foundation and black eyeliner/eyeshadow.
*Cynical attitude towards life
*Attempts at suicide, self-mutilation (wrist cutting).
