It is a term used for if either player getting sniped by another player, a player sniping an enemy or when in a video game an AI having high priorities towards the player to ensure a game over.
This boss fight is so difficult because of the fact the boss will player snipes the protagonist of the game so often completely ignoring the party members most of the time.

The arrows have some of the most janky hitboxes in the game—sometimes they miss when they should hit, sometimes they hit when they have no business doing so.
