Fake Friday

Day before a day off in the middle of a work week. The term “fake Friday” is used because Friday is the day before the weekend, so “fake Friday” is the day before a day off that typically wouldn’t be regularly scheduled. Fake Friday can often be compared to Christmas because of how exciting is it.

“Do we have school tomorrow?”
“No, so today’s Fake Friday.”

ex. Brooklyn tells you that you guys are best friends but then she turns around and talks bad about you behind your back. Brooklyn would be fake.

Fake Maine™

Maine without puffins is just about as real as Australia.

If you believe you live in Maine but have never seen a puffin, you live in Fake Maine. This is a common misconception because Mr. Mapmaker must have forgotten to include Fake Maine and explain the difference. It's hard to get out of Fake Maine, but you'll know you've done it when you see a puffin.

"You live in Maine? Cool! Have you seen any puffins?"

Fakeatarian

One who says they are vegetarian but secretly eat Taco Bell and Jack In The Box tacos, justifying it as “ it contains mostly soy.” They only eat French fries when out instead of salad ironically. They cave in to sometimes secretly taking a bite of meat and loving it.

Non vegetarian- I’m not a vegetarian but I love eating healthy.Do you want a thin crust gluten free pesto sauce cheese spinach pizza ? It’s my favorite ! Fakeatarian-Ew, I want Taco Bell! Non vegetarian- So are you a fakeatarian ?
