now, the badger goes silent

A common saying when texting where when someone is pointed out on some outlandish statement or action, or when a good point is made, after which the person goes silent.

Friend 1: I'm telling you, I'm not a vampire!
Friend 2: You screamed when I threw water from a church on you...
Friend 1: That was just a reflex! Anyone would scream if cold water was unexpectedly thrown on them!
Friend 2: *silence*
Friend 1: Now, the badger goes silent

sicling, siclist, sicle

sicle=bike
siclist=biker
sicling=biking

may never be used to describe the groups commonly reffered to as "roadies", "XCers", "BMXers" or any normal moutain biker. Used when referrring to hardcore freeride bikers, mostly used in the urban biking scene when talking to fellow riders, an inside comment, not to be used to often nor to openly. Originated in Ontario by a one "yomar" when discussing "sicling" with fellow riders, on his "twofiff"

"yo, what you up to, lets go sicling"

"wtf! wheres my sicle!"

yeah man, siclist for life!"

To the man who carries the world on his shoulders, silently

I wanted to write this because sometimes I feel like words aren't enough to describe what I see when I look at you. I am endlessly proud of the man you are. You are truly wonderful, but I also see the parts of you that you hide from the world.

I see how deeply you care, how you pour your energy into the people around you, often consuming yourself just to make sure everyone else is okay. You sacrifice so much, and I know that sometimes you tend to forget about the most important person in that equation: yourself.

But look at what you have achieved. Look at what you’ve built for yourself and how you handle everything life throws at you. It’s breathtaking. You are a man of unshakeable integrity. To say you have a 'good soul' is an understatement; your heart is rare, and it is a gift to everyone who knows you. Please, never forget to keep some of that kindness for yourself, too.

To the man who carries the world on his shoulders, silently:

I Love You to the moon and back and even more.
