tender hooks

Firstly, it is tenter hooks, not tender hooks. It means waiting with anxiety. Tenter is a rack for drying cloth and a tenter hook is a nail with an upward curve on which the cloth is hung.

I was on tenter hooks until the test results arrived. Tender hooks do not exist and if they did, they would ne inefective because they are tender.

Derived as a combination of the words "hoochie" and "floozie". A hoozie is a young, at least mildly attractive woman whose sole purpose to a man is sexual gratification.

Hood Fine

1) a woman who, from a mainstream point of view is not necessarily physically attractive, but when seen in the context of their ghetto upbringing, is considered 'fine' by other denizens of the 'hood.

2) a woman that is found attractive usually only by 'hood rats and WT (read: men from Milwaukee, WI's Nothrside and West Allis) due to their large posterior, rack, and childbearing hips.

Trent: "did you meet Stan's new girl?"

John: "Yeah, rough..."

Trent: "Hey she's hood fine, at least, and that's probably the best he can do."

John: "Dang, she got a fine ass booty tho', f'real!"
