come to jesus

Used in the film "Flight of the Intruder" in the court-martial scene. To not necessarily use religion and tell the truth. Repentance, but without religious overtone.
from "Flight of the Imtruder":

"I hope you realize that now is the time to come to Jesus." Meaning that if the aircrew being court-martialed spilled their guts off the record before the proceeding started, they might stand a better chance of a favorable opinion. Could somewhat be compared to plea bargaining.

Comedy

What you read on urban dictionary is not comedy. Comedy is intentional, when you go to a comedy show, you go to watch a guy tell jokes on purpose. Anybody not telling jokes on stage isn't meant to be taken as a comedian, even if you thought something they typed was funny, it doesn't make the person who typed it a comedian.
You can watch hbo, rent a movie, listen to a comedy album, read a comedy book, or go to a show for comedy. That's what the comedians make shows, books, and albums for, what they say is meant to be taken as a joke, since comedy is intentional. If its not intentional comedy, its most likely intended as something other than comedy.

doesn't come to my birthday parties

An answer to give when someone asks you if you know of a certain celebrity, or general VIP, but in all honesty you're clueless. A nearly desperate way to salvage some cool about not being in the know.
Person A: Hey, did you hear the new Lady Gaga single yesterday?

Person B: Nope . . . whoever she is, she doesn't come to my birthday parties.

Person A: What a surprise.
