To keep ones options open. Like a bird flying along the coastline, neither heading inland or out to sea, refraining from making a decision at the present time.

Generally refers to a current indecision about where to party that night when given two possible options.

Used most commonly in New Zeland where birds can be seen loitering around the coastline, often a common location for bars/clubs.

"hey where are you heading out tonight? (Insert name here)'s party or clubbing downtown?"

"hmm, im still coastal at the moment."

OR "im keeping it coastal." (when pressured to make a decision)

hot little half cast

Term describing the present day female victims of the stolen generation.
Generally speaking they are around 1/4 to 1/8 boong to achieve hot little half cast rating, though this is subject to actual appearance.

friend1: I was working the till and this boong came up and asked for sex in the neighbouring alley.
friend2: Yeah sounds about right.
friend1: Yeah she was a hot little half cast aswel, spewing my boss was on shift.

Youth Castes

In youth culture today, individuals can be grouped into a number of different classes, which have become prominent over the last few years.

Generally there are 4 or 5 major classes, all of which can be arranged in a spectrum..

Townie -- HipHopper -- Skater --Greebo -- Goth

There are some which don't fit easily anywhere on the spectrum such as Hippies, Meatheads, Geeks etc.
Basically, young people these days are sheep, and want to conform to the masses. People go along with a particular group, and share the same trends / styles, likes and disklikes.

Different areas of Britain have different proportions of each. Some places maybe townie dominated, whereas some may be myriad with skaters. Click on each one above to see what they are.

Caster Semenya

To support both sides of an argument, just like it turns out Caster Semenya (winner of the womens' 800m in the 2009 World Championships) had hormones from both genders.

(Person 1): I gave someone the book off on the train yesterday.

(Person 2): Yeah, that's great. (Laughs with person 1)

(Person 3): No, that's not cool.

(Person 2): Yeah, (person 1), you shouldn't do that.

(Person 1+3): Don't be such a Caster Semenya
