A person who's so isolated and so over-exposed to media (such as film) that they think the world works in the same way.

Media Larp

Media Larping is the act of being a fan of a piece of media without actually consuming any piece of the aforementioned media. This practice is usually performed by anime fans, Re:Zero is one example where Media Larpers fawn over. Media Larpers usually rely on TikTok and Instagram comment sections to get info about the piece of media, or better yet, 2+ Hour video essays that explain the whole story for them.

All these Media Larpers are really good at disguising themselves as genuine fans
