Bromeln (Verb)

Definition:
Ein umgangssprachlicher Begriff für exzessives Videospielen, ähnlich wie „zocken“ oder „daddeln“. Wird oft verwendet, wenn jemand stundenlang in ein Game vertieft ist oder dabei die Zeit vergisst.

Beispiele:
1. „Ey, kommst du noch raus?“
– „Ne, ich bin am bromeln. Noch eine Runde!“
2. „Er hat das ganze Wochenende nur gebromelt und kaum geschlafen.“

Herkunft:
Das Wort bromeln ist eine kreative Neuerfindung und könnte sich aus einer zufälligen Wortschöpfung entwickelt haben. Es hat keinen direkten Bezug zu bestehenden Begriffen, sondern soll als frisches Slang-Wort für Gaming etabliert werden.

Bromance is a thing for bestfriends. It basically where you guys act like you're dating regardless the gender. Like saying "I love you" or calling them "love". Bromance and platonic love are different. Platonic love is only where you mean it in a friend way. But in bromance, you mean it both romantically and platonically.
