"Straightedge" was a song by Minor Threat recorded in the early 80s. No drugs, no excessive drinkin, or casual sex. Being straight-edge is not following a set of rules, it is following an ideal. People who are straight-edge are not against drinking, they are against drinking excessively; alcohol is not poisonous in small quantities, nor do such small quantities alter your state of mind. The whole principle behind sXe, as it is referred to, is purity/clarity of body and mind.

This "sexuality/preference" is incredibly transphobic because being "super-straight" means you only see transgender people as the gender they were born with; and while having a genital preference is completely valid, excluding post-op transgender people is not.
