A good example of this is when Miles Morales thew a Bagel at Johnathan Oone, causing Johnathan to develop an intense hatred towards Miles, after that (and a collider incident) Johnathan became The Spot, who claims to be Miles's nemesis.

Guy 1: I'm gonna throw this bagel at someone!
Guy 2: No! You'll cause The Bagel Effect!
Guy 1: *Throws bagel at Guy 3*

Guy 1: *Minding his business*
