This phrase is easier to understand if it is read as "You can't eat your cake, and have it too". Obviously once you've eaten your cake, you won't have it any more. Used for expressing the impossibility of having something both ways, if those two ways conflict.

He works so hard to pay for that fancy house of his that he never has any time to stay home and enjoy it.

Yeah, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

An expression used to present your assumption that a person will be giving a blow job. Originates from the movie Good Will Hunting

You know, I was on this plane once, and I’m sittin there, and the captain gets on and does his whole you know “we’ll be cruising at 35,000 feet,” but then he put puts the mic down and forgets to turn it off. And he turns to the co-pilot and he’s like “you know, all I could use right now is a fuckin’ blow job and a cup of coffee.” So the stewardess goes fuckin’ bombing up from the back of the plane to tell him that his microphone’s still on and this guy in the back of the plane’s like “hey hun, don't forget the coffee”

Released 2 days after his death, it has an eerie similarity to what happened: Tupac getting shot, dying in a car, where he reminisces and talks about all of his friends of the past. It's not one of the "thug" songs of many of today's rappers; it's a recollection of his past and his life, and how he rose in popularity, despite so much adversity.

I don't like the cut of your Jib

In the early 1700's the cut of the jib sail, often signified the nationality of a vessel. The term was being used figureatively by the 1800's to express like, or dislike for someone. So, the 'Cut of one's jib' refers to their general appearance of personality.

A person who is extremely clumsy, or who often is sporting bandages covering minor injuries, might be said to be incapable of "walking and chewing gum at the same time".

After the third time in one month that the new office assistant was electrocuted while trying to clear a paper jam in the office copier, the supervisor shook his head and asked the Personnel office to move the employee to another department with no machinery in it, as "this guy can't walk and chew gum at the same time".
