Scene

Scene kids are nothing more then a bunch of kids who dress differently then the majority. We like to express our emotions through our music tastes or our style. We make fashion statements..so what? If you can't deal then fuck off k?

I don't know what an example of a scene kid would be. If you see us you know who we are.

Scene

Scene is all the poser kids that want to be HxC or Indie etc. Scene is not HxC kids or punk/indie kids, just the imposters. They dress like the HxC kids because they think it looks cool. Because people have a bandana or they have the "choppy hair" does not make them scene. They are not into it because of them music but of the popluarity.

Wow look at that lame Scene kid trying to act like those HxC kids. He thinks hes cool by dressing like them.

scene kids

A bunch of elitist fucks that all dress like girls and wish they were in college. So they can be ARTxCORE.

They also enjoy telling anyone who will listen which bands have 'sold out' (changed from some 'indie' lable to one that's less 'indie' so they can attract a larger audience) and why that's disappointing and/or expected.

They hang out at shows and act completely disinterested in the band and tell you off if you make any attemp at all to enjoy yourself. If you're not one of them, they'll gaggle up in little groups and mock how 'unscene' you are (thus the elitist title).

Scene kids cannot bear to be 'out-banded,' that is to say, if you happen to drop the name of a band they've never heard of before, they'll immediately start bragging about how many times they've seen that band, and then drop a band name (that's probably made up) you've hopefully never heard before just to nurse their wounded ego.

And, believe you me, the ego of a scenester is a force to be reckoned with.

I wanted to go to the show, but all those damn scene kids were there and it was sold out.

Scene (Kid)

Scene does not refer to emo (which is currently a nonexistent music genre- easily mistaken for pop-punk)in any way.

Scene refers to the music scene in someones town.
examples:
If many metal bands play in a town and there are lots of kids who go to metal shows...their "Scene" would be the "metal scene"
If many indie bands play in a town and there are lots of kids who go to indie shows...their "Scene" would be the "indie scene"
If many industrial bands play in a town and there are lots of kids who go to industrial shows...their "Scene" would be the "industrial scene"

and so on and so forth.
Scene doesn't reflect on the way a person dresses, how they act, what there emotional status is or how many times they "cut maselfffffff"
Scene just refers to music.

Metalhead1- yo man i love our 'scene!
Metalhead2- dude me too! i love seeing all these new metal bands at the local VFW!

indiekid1- i can't wait to go to the show tonight at the local small venue! our scene and our scene (kid)s are awesome!
indiekid2- i agree, i love our indie scene. the way localindieband's keyboard player rocks the Moog is awesome!

Scenester

An individual who partakes in 'myspace' trends, while obtaining mild obscurity fashion taste, and claiming to be unique, while hanging out with people that look exactly the same. Some modern day trends have de-evolutionized this idiocy to a new level and they are as follows:

br00tal names (i.e. HENRY HORROR, CHRIS CANNIBAL, DAVID MASSACRE)

tight pants; usually girl pants

slip-on shoes such as vans

the XS hoodie with a band that they don't even listen to but bought it at a show, cause it looked cool

posting on bulletins:
w4wing, pc4pc, s4s (whore 4 whore)(picture comment 4 picture comment) (sign 4 sign)
or some train called 'HORRIFIC PERFECTION' with pictures of people at their best angles.

Hello Kitty, Gloomy Bear, Diamonds, Bats paraphernalia

Covering your face with as much hair as possible (To make yourself look a lot more attractive than you already are)

Having Drop Dead and/or Bring Me The Horizon on your Top Friends.

Going to shows and gossiping about other scenesters.

Usually wearing black band shirts.

Making a gang and telling everyone to post it on their myspace.

scene kids

around where we live, scene kids are usually short- to- medium height and very skinny, with the occasional porker, who unfortunately, tries to fit into the same size clothes. they usually have long or shoulder-length spiky hair dyed black, with caramel-looking patches. the girls seem to love the miniskirts & leggings trend. despite their somewhat-appealing exterior, they're very narcissistic and only care about themselves and other people scene enough for them. all non-scene kids secretly hate them.

riding the bus with the scene kids became a very depressing thing for young nikki.
