I don't know if this is true, but I think rednecks are people who own a gun, live in the south of the US, love America way too much, and are homophobic/ transphobic. I guess some honorable mentions are: love god, have a gross beard, owns a truck.

It usually with something getting broken and someone, besides the "crazy" person, bleeding from the ass whippin' they got.
