"Franking" is a part of video game speech where a very weak character suddenly got so buffed that they are suddenly one of the best characters in the game, the term was coined because the 'Brawl Stars' character "Frank" suddenly turned into an S tier character after years of being bad

Person A: I'm so glad this character is good in competitive games after years of being bad

Person B: Me too,but now he is a bit too strong don't you think?

Person A: Oh yeah,he got a massive frank

Person B: What does 'franked' mean?

Person A: It's when a character is suddenly over-buffed to the point that suddenly it's insanely good after being very weak

Person B: ah ok
