Just a regular "trial" license but spelled wrong. Mostly done by oblivious non-native English speakers/writers.

Him: OMG! Stop ordering trail licenses, they'll cost us money after 30 days!!!
You: It's a "Trial" license. Not trail!

Butter Trail

Usually is found after one has defecated in the restroom and has left a little extra residue on the seat. Tends to look like a little yellow/brown strip and most commonly is found on the back of the toilet seat, where one's butt crack sits.

Travis: "Hey, didn't Justin drop a deuce earlier?"
Derek: "Yeah, I believe so, why?"
Travis: "That douchebag left a butter trail on the seat!"
Derek: "Yeah, he tends to do that. He never wipes it off either."
Travis: At least he didn't shit in my underwear and leave it under my bed like Mike did."
Derek: That's true. Mike is savage as fuck!

The opposite of a happy trail, one strip shaved down the center of your chest and pubes.

The hair line that begins just below a man's chest, runs down the middle of the abdomen and leads to the pubic region.

People who are way too serious about the rules of the local hike and bike trail. They often yell at people who break the rules.
