When someone is being extra salty, or decides to do the opposite of what is expected that everyone thought they would do. On the other hand being "Fake" is a more current attribute that most people are starting to be like. If you know someone who is fake, fair warning you better run.

Get the Fakemug. Fake is a word to describe people who aren't themselves in order to gain friends and end up being more popular. They seem very nice to everyone, yet trash-talks them behind their back in order to get attention from people and make "friends" just to improve their social-status.
Jasmine hanging up on me so suddenly just so she can hang out with her friends was very fake of her.
